We're seeking a Senior Systems Developer for a well-established utilities and billing company! This exciting role offers you the opportunity to work across the full software lifecycle, from design to support, using technologies such as .NET VB & C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, React, and RESTful APIs with a SQL Server backend.

As a Senior Systems Developer, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions that meet business needs, while also mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership. You'll also take on incident management and service requests, ensuring timely and high-quality support for business-critical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining bespoke software solutions.
  • Supporting systems to minimise incidents and maximise uptime.
  • Working through the SDLC, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Offering mentorship and training within the team.
  • Championing customer service and ITIL principles to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience with VB/C#, ASP.NET MVC, React, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control, agile methodologies, and automated testing.
