Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school or care setting within the UK. This role is crucial in providing tailored support to our students, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom teachers in managing student behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Help students with personal care tasks, where necessary.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN in a school or care setting in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable).
