We are looking for Transport Planner to start immediately for our client based in Bury St Edmunds.

Transport Planner responsibilities include:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00
Daily multi drop routing across different depots.
Prioritise delivery requirements of customers, analyse and route vehicles accordingly.
Consider drivers working time regulations, tacho hours and other restrictions when planning.
Monitor vehicle progress throughout the day and decide if any re-routing is necessary.
Communicate with Sub-contractors.
Perform any other duties as required.
As a Transport Planner you must:
- Previous Transport Planning/routing experience.
- Strong understanding of routing processes and procedures.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in managing internal and external relationships.
- Happy to problem solve.
- Work well within a small team, under pressure and at speed.
- Knowledge of using computer systems such as Excel, Outlook and Word.
