Vehicle Technician

We are a small friendly family run business looking for a helpful, flexible and efficient person to join our team.

You will be required to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics and maintenance on a wide variety of makes and models of vehicles. Working 40hrs per week (Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm with 1hour unpaid lunch break) Could be flexible on hours for he right candidate.

Responsibilities include;

  • Carrying out routine servicing and repairs
  • Inspecting vehicles to a very high standard
  • Testing and diagnosing vehicle faults
  • Repairing and replacing vehicle parts
  • Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance
  • Keeping workspace and workshop clean and tidy
  • Adhering to Health and Safety in the workshop
  • Carrying out MOT’s (Preferable but not essential)

Requirements for this role;

  • Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, NVQ) or equivalent (minimum requirement)
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience
  • Experience of diagnostic work is really important
  • FGas trained
  • Valid driving licence
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work alone / use own initiative
