PALM Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Technician to join the team based in Bury St Edmunds on a full-time, permanent basis. In return,you will receive a competitive salary of £26,500 per annum + Training & Benefits.
P.A.L.M Solutions Plumbing and Legionella Management Specialists provide nationwide coverage to all commercial sectors, ensuring full compliance of water systems in accordance with ACoP L8 & HSG274.

About the role:
As the Water Hygiene Technician, your role will involve servicing both public and private sector sites across the UK.
No prior experience is required; we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning.
Comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities as our Water Hygiene Technician will include:
The successful candidate will be fully trained to perform a range of L8 compliance tasks, including:
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- TMV servicing
- CWST cleans and disinfections
- Simple remedial plumbing tasks
- Legionella risk assessments
As our Water Hygiene Technician, you’ll ideally have:
- A background in plumbing (preferred, but not essential)
- A basic understanding of water systems (desirable)
- Basic IT skills, ideally with experience using Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management abilities
- Thrive under pressure and can meet deadlines
- Value excellent customer service
- Work well as part of a team
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Can pass a DBS check due to the nature of the work environment
