A well-established engineering firm based in the heart of Suffolk are currently on the hunt for an experienced welder fabricator to join their team.

With a starting wage circa 15ph (negotiable based on experience) & the opportunity to progress into the Team leader of the welding department, this is an excellent opportunity.

The company are specialist fabricators who cover a wide range of projects from customers within sectors such as OEM, construction, government, MOD, food & agricultural. The projects vary so the successful welder must be competent working with various dimensions & materials.

The role is predominantly all MIG welding. You must be able to read from technical drawings & then fabricate independently.

As a welder you will be expected to work with mild & stainless steel on various thicknesses ranging from 5mm - 20mm. Ideally you will be able to operate manual fabrication machinery such as brake press, punch press, guillotine etc.

The applicant must also be able to work well within a team and be flexible to do overtime through the week and on weekends in peak periods.

Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 16:45. Fridays are treated as an overtime day!
