The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to larger organisations, providing a wide range of business services. This includes preparing accounts, assisting with management accounts, and supporting clients with day-to-day queries. This position would suit an individual who is AAT qualified or studying towards their ACA/ACCA qualification. A passion for client service, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
- Supporting clients with bookkeeping and general queries.
- Collaborating with senior staff on ad hoc projects and assignments.
- Liaising with clients and ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACA/ACCA.
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accountancy software and MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
