Management Accountant

Zachary Daniels are working with a well established and national organisation based in Bury for a qualified Management Accountant. They are seeking a self motivated, team player to join an existing team of 2.

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparing month and year end accounts
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
• Bank reconciliations
• Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger
• Payroll - both weekly and monthly using Sage for 18 staff

What will you bring as a Management Accountant ?

• Minimum 2 years experience within management accounts
• AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Flexible approach
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Good communication and relationship skills
• Resilience to see issues through to conclusion
• Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands
• Proficient IT skills including Excel and knowledge of Sageline 50 is essential

Hours; 3 days per week, 9-5pm (will always work a Tuesday and Wednesday, however flexible on the third day)
