Join a fantastic local engineering specialist currently recruiting for an Electrically Biased Field Service Engineer. Working in a family-run organisation, if you want to be part of an inclusive team, this role has the culture you're looking for. Based in the Northwest, this Mon-Fri role offers favourable daytime working hours (7:00am-3:30pm), with opportunity to be home every evening. In a customer-facing position, where you'll represent the company in a positive and friendly manner. This hands-on role involves supporting the company's clients by servicing, installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of pumps and electrical controls across the Northwest.

This role is suited to a self-motivated, flexible individual who understands the demands of a field service position. Ideal candidates will possess a strong electrical skillset, with prior experience in electrical fault finding and installation. Previous field service experience is preferred. Pumps repair experience is highly desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with equipment and controls.
* Conduct installations and removals of relevant equipment and instrumentation.
* Analyse breakdown causes, suggesting improvements to prevent recurrence.
* Provide 24/7 emergency cover on a rotational basis.
