Having been established for over 40 years, the group has recently acquired a number of other brokerages, bringing together a collection of reputable brands into the network, and their continued growth means they are now looking for an Account Executive / Associate Director in join and help lead the Bury office.

The Role

As the Account Executive / Associate Director, you will play a key role in driving the business forward, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and expanding commercial client accounts, both new and existing, to provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and providing complete professional insurance advice to clients across a range of sectors, ensuring their needs are met with tailored insurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all insurance related matters
  • Dealing with the selling, processing and administration of new contracts, renewals and MTA's.
  • Liaising and negotiating with underwriters to identify the most suitable insurance products for your clients.
  • Conduct regular policy reviews and identify opportunities for clients to improve coverage or save on premiums.
  • Negotiate renewals and new business to achieve targets and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Provide advice and guidance on risk management and insurance trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure clients receive accurate and timely advice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting the wider team to provide subject matter expertise.

About You

  • Previous experience working commercial insurance as either a Senior Broker, Account, Account Executive or Director
  • A deep knowledge of the commercial insurance industry and its products and solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and insurers
  • Ability to manage a diverse client portfolio and handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Insurance qualifications (CII or equivalent) would be desirable.
  • Working knowledge of insurance software (Acturis would be desirable but not essential).
