Our client, a long-established contractor in the field of commercial and residential roofing services, are seeking a commercially astute business developer to join their operation in a brand new role as they look to embellish their service offering with new business opportunities.
The company, founded back in the 1950s, have a significant track record in delivering high quality roofing solutions on a multitude of contracts across the commercial and residential sectors, from pitched and flat roofing to solar panelling.
Requirements
They are looking for a seasoned sales professional with experience in the construction industry, ideally roofing, but any one whos got experience selling a service into the new build or maintenance aspects of the construction markets. Gathering tenders, completing PQQs and lead generation will all be part of your daily duties, and youll source these via various methods of communication as well as having access to Glenigan which youll be experienced in using.
The role will be based out of their Head Office in Bury, and youll be expected to attend meetings with new prospective clients so a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Benefits
As for the package; starting salary £30,000 to £35,000. As this is a brand new role to the business, the client is open to discussion in relation to the base salary and commission package dependant on your experience and projected earnings.
