Join our team as a Repairs Planner, where you will be instrumental in scheduling work orders in line with repairs priorities to ensure targets are met through effective work distribution and scheduling. This role requires proactive management of workload changes and resources to maintain high performance and meet deadlines.
Day-to-day of the role:- Schedule and allocate all responsive and planned repairs work.
- Provide advice and support to Customer Contact Centre Advisors, tenants, and other service users regarding diagnosis of repairs, contractor selection, and operative availability.
- Work with stores and third-party suppliers to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Contact customers to schedule repair appointments and manage expectations.
- Assist in the investigation of complaints and enquiries, identifying areas for service improvement.
- Participate in shift duties to ensure service availability from 8am to 5pm as required.
- Coordinate and plan all repairs, ensuring inspections and repairs are carried out within agreed timescales.
- Manage planning systems to ensure high operative productivity and adherence to KPI objectives.
- Raise works orders, ensuring all necessary adjustments and safety information are communicated to relevant parties.
- Maintain high-quality data in systems, ensuring all transactions are accurate and systems are updated regularly.
- Handle queries and concerns efficiently to ensure smooth workflow.
- Minimum 1 year experience in scheduling and planning repairs work.
- Strong communication skills, with experience dealing with tenants and repairs operatives.
- Proficient in using ICT systems for repair scheduling and data management.
- Experience with the 1st Touch system is desirable.
- Knowledge of QL and DRS systems, with experience in running reports and raising works within these systems.
