Bury Council are seeking a skilled Joiner who is experienced in working with void properties. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, capable of conducting minor plumbing, plastering, pointing, and painting works. This role involves a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks across council homes and public buildings managed by Bury Council.

Day-to-day of the role:

Carry out multi-skilled joinery work related to repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment.
Handle responsive and planned repairs, as well as empty homes reinstatement.
Address issues related to disrepair, damp, and capital investment projects.
Work across various buildings managed by or associated with Bury Council, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Joiner, particularly in void properties.
Strong understanding of building maintenance and refurbishment processes.
Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
