Our client are seeking an Account Manager to join a fast-expanding distribution company based in Ramsbottom. This business has achieved 40% growth over the past year and an average annual growth of 20% over the last five years. Now, the company aims to expand its vibrant team alongside its customer base.In this role, you will play a pivotal role in being many customers first experience with Street Solutions by the phone or emails. Dealing with customer inquiries to help deliver the most suitable products for their project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and Expand a Portfolio of Accounts: Utilise the CRM daily to oversee and grow a designated portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships: Develop strong, lasting connections with both new and existing clients.
  • Drive Sales Growth with New and Existing Customers: Actively increase sales by identifying and meeting the needs of both current and prospective customers.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell Products: Recommend additional products and services from the range to enhance the customer’s overall experience and value.
  • Understand and Assess Customer Needs: Engage deeply with customers to identify their specific requirements and oQer tailored solutions.
  • Conduct Outbound Business Development Initiatives: Execute outbound strategies to proactively reach potential customers and foster new business opportunities.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver a high standard of support and responsiveness, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Client Industries Include: Traffic Management, Utilities, Construction, Civil Engineering, Local Authorities, and Facilities Management.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficient computer skills - excel preferred
  • Strong communication skills to eQectively interact with customers and team members
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to sell products or services by understanding customer needs and presenting solutions
  • Organisational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for processing orders, calculating discounts, and handling payments
  • Confident with speaking to customers on the phone
