Fostering IRO - (EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL) Location: Bury Rate: £30+

  1. To provide an independent chairing service for multi-agency and departmental meetings in matters relating to Child Protection and Looked after Children.
  2. To facilitate inter-agency and departmental working in relation to Child Protection and Looked after Children through effective communication with all relevant agencies.

To promote and monitor adherence to the Child Protection procedures, the statutory requirements for Looked after Children to enable a consistent and high quality service to children and their families who are receiving services from the Department

Fostering Independent Reviewing Officer

To chair the annual fostering reviews for Bury’s in house foster carersTo obtain feedback from foster carers, IROs, Children’s social workers and children about the care provided by foster carersTo produce a high quality report including recommendations for foster carers continued approval that will be considered by the fostering panel.
