A cloud and tech focused accountancy firm based in Bury, Greater Manchester are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their vibrant office on a full-time permanent basis. This is a varied accounts, tax, and bookkeeping position within a modern firm who are well established in the mid west. They are offering an excellent ACCA study support package and guidance to budding Accountants with 3-4 years experience in practice so far.
Semi/Senior Accountant Job Overview
Preparing Limited company accounts
Training clients in the use of cloud accounting software in-house and at client's premises
Corporation tax preparation
Outsourcing tasks, including bookkeeping
Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
Key part of the accounts team - This includes bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns, as well as ad-hoc advice.
Semi/Senior Accountant Job Requirements
3 years experience working in a UK accounting firm
Experience in preparing year end accounts
Excellent cloud based knowledge with Xero
Either AAT qualified and studying towards ACCA qualified PQ, studying, or working towards AAT - study support available
Excellent communication

27,000 - 37,000 per annum dependant on experience
