Job Title: Internal Sales Executive
Salary: Up to £37,000 basic + comms
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Our client is looking to expand the team and hire an experienced Internal Sales Executive. Ideal candidate will come from a technical background however this is not essential as ful training is provided. This role is working for a company that has been established for over 35 years and has become a world leader wthin their industry.
Job Description:- Focus on new business development through new and existing customers
- Generate new project specifications for our chosen product lines with owners / operators and engineers.
- When required assist with sales activities at exhibitions and conferences
- Research and approach potential clients, projects and markets to establish new areas of business and focus.
- Support external sales staff with installation training and support to ensure installation quality when required.
- Build relationships and identify new contacts / applications and projects to help further grow our business with clients.
- Drive sustainable sales growth through gaining engineering specifications for solutions and delivering world-class support throughout the project lifecycle
- Effectively promote and apply company Core Values within industry
- Plan and manage all customer contacts and meetings within the CRM system
- Provide routine, accurate and meaningful market information, forecasting and product planning to management
- Provide pre-sales technical advice and solution guidance. This will extend to providing design input for the range of bespoke products where required.
- Develop relationships with learning managers within design engineering clients, organizing lunch & learn and CPD programmes.
- Professional sales experience with preference to those that have a successful record within a internal sales environment.
- Experience of working on any of the following would be favorable, Process engineering sites, power networks, renewable generation, nuclear, marine, rail or building infrastructure.
- Knowledge in target sector, with experience of civil construction, electrical, controls, automation and/or mechanical systems for our chosen markets.
- Proven ability to manage long-term and complex sales projects to success
- Ability to use industry news / project databases / relationships to develop technical sales opportunities
- Experience of working with and supporting external sales roles as part of a team.
- Proven track record of successfully working from home.
- Successful track record of selling premium solutions within a phone based selling role
- Experience of providing technical support both internally and externally
- Successful track record of working with premium solutions against low-cost competitors
- Ability or desire to pursue a technical sales role in the future
- Full UK driving license
