Job Title: Business Development Associate

Salary: Up to £30,000 + uncapped bonus

Location: Remote/Hybrid (must be able to commute to Bury for training and induction)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Type: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through B2B channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients.
  • Prospect and win partner business accounts through lead generation to securing contracts.
  • Build successful partner customer relationships that increase incremental sales growth.
  • Achieve personal sales quota/targets including gross profit and gross margin via sales activities.
  • Devise a strategy for targeting your agreed market, sector or region.
  • High contact of target market via different means to identify, nurture and close new and existing sales opportunities within account base.
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of prospects to understand growth opportunities for new lines of business.
  • Drive self-development, working closely with your manager to set objectives and plan activities to reach these.
  • Any other required duties.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in telecommunications, audio-visual, or office hardware sales/support.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Driver's license essential.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Articulate, driven, positive with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A self-starting, confident, and pioneering attitude.
  • Comfortable working in an autonomous environment.
  • Comfortable working remotely.
  • Experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
