We are seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive, to join our highly reputable law firm established over 50 years ago.
The firm has core specialism across Private Client. Personal Injury, Housing Disrepair and CommericalLaw. The role arises as a result of departmental growth as the firm continues with their success in this field.
You will provide expert legal advice and guidance to individuals and families in matters related to their personal estates. Your role will involve managing a team of qualified solicitors, trainee solicitors and paralegals, building strong client relationships, offering tailored legal solutions, and navigating legal concerns with professionalism and sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their unique needs and objectives concerning wills, trusts, estate planning, tax optimisation, probate, and other private client matters.
Legal Advice: Provide comprehensive legal advice on matters such as wills, probate, powers of attorney, estate administration, trust administration, court of protection - ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Processes and procedures: Ensure the department adheres to strong, efficient procedures that enable high quality results for client portfolio.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering continuous support, updates, and guidance throughout the legal process.
Legal Research: Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and precedents related to private client matters, ensuring the firm's advice remains accurate and up-to-date. Providing training to the team where requiried and seek out training that is needed
Team Development, mentoring and training.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor (5 years PQE+) with relevant legal qualifications and certifications.
Substantial experience practicing in private client law, with a proven track record of handling complex concerns for clients.
In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to private client matters.
Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective client interactions and team collaborations.
Client-focused mindset with a high level of empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in legal research and utilizing relevant legal databases.
Membership in relevant legal associations or bodies is a plus.
