Your new companyThis multi-academy trust has gone through a significant period of growth over the last 2 years and with the growth plans continuing, they are keen to ensure the right individuals are appointed to ensure this successful growth. The latest role they are looking to recruit is a new role for the trust in the capacity of a Data Officer, joining the central Data team and reporting to the Trust Data Manager. As a trust, they currently have around 20 schools, with this number growing to over 60 by 2030, and it is therefore important that the schools have the right support from the central team. The Data team currently consists of a Trust Data Manager and also a Data Officer, and due to the addition of new schools, they are seeking an additional Data Officer to join the team at their Bury office. Your new roleReporting to the Data Manager, you will work as part of a team to ensure that the schools across the trust are fully supported from a data perspective, working closely with both trust and individual school staff on a daily basis. It is the responsibility of the Data team to provide effective and efficient data and management information support, being wholly responsible for the MIS systems and integration of these on site in schools and across the wider trust. As Data Officer, you will be a point of contact for the schools regarding MIS queries, as well as be responsible for the retrieval and manipulation of data and ensuring accurate recording of such data. You will be responsible for the production of reports relating to data, developing and maintaining tracking systems and completing thorough analysis of this data. On a daily basis, you will work heavily on Arbor, as well as work on Excel. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you will ideally have experience working in a data role in the education sector with strong analytical and reporting skills. Experience working on Excel is essential, with experience working on Arbor being beneficial. The ability to communicate well with internal stakeholders, as well as presenting back data findings is also essential.
