GSL is looking to appoint a Drama teacher to start ASAP. It’s a long-term contract and is due to start in ASAP and carry on for the full academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in Key Stage 3.
Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher in Bury, BL9:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Create lesson plans that are appropriate for key stage 3
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Directing in school plays and productions
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assign work, homework, and marking
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Organize and take students on theatre trips
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Prepare students for any upcoming exams
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Creativity for drama exercises and workshops
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentÂ
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Deliver engaging Drama lessons that align with the school's curriculum objectives and foster a love for the dramatic art
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lead after-school drama clubs
