Connex Education are working with a friendly Primary School in Bury, who are seeking to appoint a creative Class Teacher, to work at their school on a full-time basis.

This is a smaller-than-average sized, one-form entry school in Bury. The school were graded as an 'Outstanding' school following their most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2023. As a Catholic School, they believe nurturing the spiritual, personal, moral, and cultural development of their children is fundamental to all that they do. They are renowned in the community for being a warm, supportive school.

Assignment Details

As a Reception Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children through their transition from nursery to school. You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. This school is looking for a Class Teacher who can deliver consistently high standards of teaching and learning, with a genuine desire to make a difference to pupils' lives through supporting them to achieve the highest possible outcomes in their education. The role will be full-time and will start at the beginning of the next academic year in September 2024, with the intention of it becoming permanent should the candidate be the right fit for the school.

Person Specification

  • Experience working with primary aged children
  • QTS in the UK
  • Positive approach to behaviour management and confidence building
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
