Reeson Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the BL8 area of Bury. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Key Stage 1 (KS1), supporting pupils with varying levels of need, including ASD, non-verbal communication, social struggles, and anxiety.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Full-time teaching assistant role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Teaching assistant Key responsibilities:
    • Providing 1:1 support to pupils with a range of needs, working with one child in the morning and another in the afternoon.
    • Supporting pupils with emotional and social struggles, anxiety, and sensory needs.
    • Occasionally assisting in the reception class when needed, with the primary focus on KS1.
    • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
