We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team at H2O Flowtech - a market leader in pump and pumping systems across the Northwest. You’ll support our clients by delivering top-quality electrical servicing, repairs and installations on-site.
As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of pumps, pumping systems and treatment equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure smooth equipment operation
- Installing and commissioning electrical equipment and systems
- Providing emergency breakdown support on a 24/7 standby rota (1 week in 4)
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Identify root causes of failures and implement long-term fixes
- Keep clear records of all maintenance and repair work
- Maintain safety standards and follow all company policies
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices and equipment

The Person
We’re looking for someone with:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation / Maintenance / Engineering
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with pumps, control panels, or similar industrial systems would be an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- An inspection & testing qualification (e.g. 2391 or 2394/2395) or mechanical experience alongside your electrical skills would be an advantage.
