This Responsive Surveyor role will be for a respected council who are based around the Bury area. Damp & Mould will be a big focus for this role over the next few months but all-round Repairs experience will be needed along with solid communication skills to liaise with other teams, contractors and tenants. The company are supportive with qualifications and progression opportunities for their employees.

Role: Responsive Repairs Surveyor
Rate: 30 an hour
Location: Bury
Contract: 3 months minimum PTE

Skills needed in the Responsive Surveyor role:
  • Damp & Mould experience is essential
  • Good organisation and self-management skillset
  • Extensive experience with Responsive Repairs
  • Relative experience of building maintenance in a local authority or other registered social landlord
  • Experience of working closely with Tenants
  • Great communication skills

Responsibilities of the Responsive Surveyor role:
Taking responsibility for repair services requests
Undertaking appropriate investigations and raising repair orders as necessary
Diagnose issues and report to relevant job titles
Inspect works and approve invoices or valuations
Overseeing minor works, voids, refurbishment work and general surveying
Advise on building defects to other teams
