Energy and Sustainability Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join a growing environmental specialist consultancy in the Greater Manchester area and work on a range of exciting BREEAM and building physics related projects.

Key responsibilities for an Energy and Sustainability Consultant include:

  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on BREEAM, Embodied Carbon and operational carbon to achieve zero carbon design
  • Use industry knowledge of BREEAM and WELL to work alongside the design team and help deliver exemplary projects
  • Provide sustainable design solutions to the planning, pre-planning, and concept design stages of projects
  • Work on and lead residential, commercial, and regeneration projects across the UK

The ideal Energy and Sustainability Consultant will have:

  • Relevant degree within an environmental science or sustainability discipline
  • Strong experience as a Sustainability Consultant or Engineer within the construction industry
  • Working experience delivering BREEAM Assessments with a BREEAM Assessor qualification being advantageous
  • Experience with IES-VE software and carrying out energy modelling for dwellings and non-dwellings
  • Having LCA and OneClick software experience would be desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and "can do" attitude
