Director of Finance

Based: Bury

Salary: up to £100k + bonus + benefits

We are working with a fantastic, well-established business based in the Bury area looking for a Director of Finance to join the team. You will be overseeing the finance department fully, leading and developing a team and being the number 1 in the business reporting to the MD

With an opportunity to shape and develop the next few years, this is a great opportunity for either an experienced FD OR a first time FD looking to step up into their first FD role

Role:

  • Overseeing finance team – leading, training & developing
  • Overseeing finance for the company ensuring accurate production of management accounts and MI pack monthly
  • Working with the SLT on delivering numbers, presenting in monthly meetings
  • Financial planning – developing and driving short/medium term plans
  • Budgeting, forecasting and looking at 3-5 year strategy for existing business
  • Being an integral part of the team and business including business partnering with senior leaders
  • Identifying and improving efficiencies internally and throughout finance

Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Accountant
  • Proven management experience, driving a finance function
  • Hands on approach, comfortable getting stuck in with the team
  • Ability to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders
  • Accuracy and efficiency essential
