- Opportunity to Lead Take on informal leadership responsibility, mentoring junior team members and supporting their development
- Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts for all group entities
- Leading cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial planning
- Carrying out detailed KPI, variance, and OPEX analysis to support business performance
- Managing and improving internal controls around POs and GRNs
- Acting as the key contact for external auditors and statutory financial reporting
- Submitting VAT returns, Aggregate Levy Returns, and Environment Agency submissions
- Supporting ERP system upgrades and continuous improvement of finance processes
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development
- Working with the Head of Finance on business-wide finance projects and strategic initiatives
- Regular travel between Burnley and Warrington to support local site needs
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong, relevant SME experience
- Proven experience preparing management accounts and supporting commercial decision-making
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling)
- Commercially minded able to interpret numbers and tell the story behind them
- Adaptable and flexible thrives in a changing environment and able to pivot priorities
- Collaborative approach confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders across the business
- Self-motivated and proactive takes ownership and drives improvements
- Comfortable balancing day-to-day tasks with strategic thinking
- Salary up to £50,000
