Purchase Ledger Manager

Based: Bury area

Salary: up to £35k + benefits + hybrid/flexible working hours

We are working with an established, progressive business with plans to continue their growth and double turnover in the next few years. This position sits within an SME business as part of a wider group and under a fantastic Financial Controller

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager who is looking for a new challenge & opportunity

Role:

  • Leading a team of 3 people, ensuring training & development
  • Overseeing all aspects of purchase ledger – ensuring all invoices are accurate
  • Resolving any queries with suppliers
  • Supplier invoice and statement reconciliations
  • Processing payment runs and month end accruals
  • Taking ownership for Purchase Ledger processes – looking to enhance, develop and improve efficiencies
  • Taking ownership for new systems, becoming super-user and driving efficiencies and change
  • Managing master data, PO, GRNI, 3-way invoice matching processes

Experience:

  • Proven experience leading a team in Purchase Ledger department as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager
  • Strong end to end Purchase Ledger experience
  • Able to use own initiative and suggest improvements and efficiencies
  • Strong systems experience, able to lead and develop those
