• Oversee a broad client portfolio, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and larger corporate clients
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, offering expert financial and strategic advice
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Manage statutory accounts, tax compliance, and financial reporting for clients
• Review work completed by junior staff, providing constructive feedback and training
• Identify opportunities to enhance client businesses through proactive financial guidance
• Ensure all work is delivered efficiently and to deadlines, maintaining a high standard of client care
• Contribute to business development efforts, helping to grow the firm’s client base

• ACA/ACCA qualified, with extensive experience in practice
• Strong expertise in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and business advisory services
• Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to provide clear and insightful advice
• Experience leading a team, reviewing work, and mentoring junior colleagues
• A commercially minded approach, with the ability to spot opportunities for client growth
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• £70,000 to £90,000 pa
