- Process letters of authority
- Gather data and prepare written summaries for advisers
- Prepare client files for advisers
- Work on member cases and perform both manual and automated calculations
- Answer member queries and liaise directly with the clients
- Perform pensions calculations, both manual and computerised.
- Enter pensions data and answer enquiries to the required standard using automated and non-automated manual/system processes
- Maintain databases, inputting data and ensuring information keyed is correct
- Create and maintain client or internal company records, ensuring all client files are up to date and recorded on the system and internal records are accurate and maintained
- Produce reports and illustrations as required
- Carry out research and due diligence checks.
- Liaise with clients and third parties as necessary to process client requirements
- Send forms out to the client and follow up/ checking forms on return
- Chasing any outstanding documents or information
- Send documentation to providers or process online
- Assisting in the preparation of client files & presentations
- Assisting the paraplanning and adviser teams in updating scheme documents and fee agreements.
- Fee receipt and management duties
- Administration and collation of group risk renewals
- Provide general office administration services particularly telephone answering services
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes to ensure a professional and consistent company image is upheld
- Sound working knowledge of the Financial services industry as a whole
- Occupational pensions administration and group risk experience – Desirable
- A good foundation of technical pensions knowledge – Desirable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships
