Our client is a highly respected firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in Bury who specialise in providing Financial Advice to High-net-worth individuals.They are currently looking for a motivated Financial Planning Assistant, Administrator or Junior Planner, who is looking to advance their experience in a technical role. The role involves working closely with the Financial Planner and using research software to build case recommendations for the client and prepare cashflow plans.
The role will involve writing short recommendation letters where the Paraplanner in the team will concentrate on writing the long suitability reports.
* SALARY is commensurate with experience ranging from £26,000 - £33,000 though negotiable and competitive for your experience.

* HOURS are Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm in an office-based role. There is scope to continue to become a Financial Planner in the business.
The ideal Financial Planning Assistant will be working towards their Financial Planning Diploma, RO Qualifications or have CII professional Qualifications or hands on experience.
Key Responsibilities for the Financial Planning Assistant:
Working closely with Financial Planners preparing cashflow plans and finance strategies.
Using other client facing and / or research software to build the case for recommendations to the client.
Produce client valuations and ensure all relevant documents are prepared for review meetings.Assist with pre-meeting preparations, including compiling necessary data and information.
Joining client meetings when relevant, to meet clients to understand their situation and objectives.
Preparing Current Position reports from cashflow software for which training will be provided.
Compiling recommendation letters to change an income withdrawal from a Pension, ISA or Investment Account.
Check compliance documents to ensure everything meets regulatory requirements.Review and update file notes to maintain accuracy and compliance.Perform basic administrative tasks, such as handling correspondence and maintaining client records.
Key Skills & Experience:Ideally you will have a basic understanding of financial products and services and have a passion for Financial Planning, Pensions or Investments.
An understanding or knowledge of cashflow planning is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Good communication skills to build up good rapport with internal colleagues and clients.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.IT proficiency and confidence working with databases and electronic records.
1-3 years+ experience preferably within an IFA/Wealth Management/Financial Planning Assistant role.
