An established and highly regarded financial advisory firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, supporting Financial Planners in delivering high-quality client service.
The RoleAs a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to Financial Planners, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining client files, conducting research, and compiling suitability reports.
- Working closely with Financial Planners to develop client recommendations and implement investment strategies.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, including FCA Conduct rules and industry best practices.
- Using cash flow modelling and conducting investment portfolio reviews.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries, and attending meetings where required.
- Liaising with product providers and suggesting process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning environment.
- Progress towards a Level 4 qualification (Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems and report compilation.
- A proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach.
- Salary: Up to £44,000 (depending on experience and ability).
- Death in Service: 4x salary.
- Pension Scheme: 4% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution.
- Holiday: 21 days plus statutory bank holidays, increasing to 26 days after 10 years of service.
