PPS Commercials are one of the UKs leading Commercial Vehicle Body Builders, we are currently seeking to recruit a full time Homologation / Compliance Co-ordinator to join our busy team.
Working collaboratively with Sales / Design / Manufacturing departments to ensure effective production flow in-line with schedule and customer demands, your main duties will include:
- To produce Type Approval documentation and 2nd stage certification of conformity to both European and GB Small Series Type Approval.
- Complete manufacturers on-line WLTP emissions documentation to ensure that correct values are input on 2nd stage approval certificates.
- Carry out final weight calculations for mass in running order of vehicles.
- Inputting data from weight calculations to complete Final Inspection sheet.
- Creating Statutory Vin plate labels and ensure fitment to vehicle at final PDI stage.
- Liaise with dealerships and customers regarding 2nd stage certificates.
- Assist the company in any other issues as required with regards to Type Approval documentation.
Person Specification
We are keen to speak with Approvals Coordinators with the following skills/experience.
- Previous experience in meeting legislative requirements such as European Vehicle Type Approval and UK Statutory Instrument regulations.
- Experience in the vehicle conversion industry is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Conformity of Production will be an advantage but not essential.
- Proven ability to work within a fast paced, evolving, and demanding environment.
- Computer literacy.
- High attention level to detail and work in a methodical, organised manner.
