OUR CLIENT ARE A PROFESSIONAL FIRM OF INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL PLANNERS AND INVESTMENT MANAGERS AND WERE THE FIRST FIRM IN THE NORTH WEST TO BE AWRDED 'CHARTERED STATUS'. THEY LAUNCHED THEIR INVESTMENT COMMITTEE IN 2009, AND THE COMPANY HAS ENJOYED CONTINUED GROWTH EVER SINCE. THEY OPERATE FROM FOUR OFFICES ACROSS THE NORTHWEST AND YORKSHIRE.

Our Client is now seeking to recruit an IFA Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner to join their professional, growing and stable team, where you will be responsible for supporting an Adviser on a 1:1 basis. The right candidate must be able to work within a small team and have the confidence to deal directly with Clients and Providers.

They are looking for an individual who has the drive and determination to succeed in their role, with an eye for detail, a willingness to learn and a "can do" attitude.

Candidates applying for the role MUST have previous experience with the Financial Services Industry and ideally have commenced to / or are keen to commit study with the CII.

Daily duties will be varied consisting of;

" Provide "Pre Sales" administration support to Paraplanner/Advisers, including;

o Preparation of Engagement Letters

o Provision of Letters of Authority/Change of Agency Letters

o Downloading of Fact Find for completion / Client Agreement

o Obtaining Provider Application Forms

o Setting up File for new clients

o Obtain valuations of existing client policies and obtaining quotes

" Provide up to date Valuations to Paraplanner/Advisers

" Ensure back office software is kept up to date

" Maintain and update email list used by Head Office to issue Newsletters

" General client account maintenance

" To provide administration services to Advisers and their team as required

" Managing Adviser diaries, work logs and meetings

" Maintain and develop their personal knowledge and qualifications to improve their ability to support both colleagues and clients. Participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.

It is important that the successful candidates offers quality service delivery. You will be a strong communicator and should be able to build professional working relationships, as well as having the ability to work as part of a team. The ability to use a variety of different systems, is also essential as you will be working on Provider Platforms and Back Office Systems throughout the day.
