Vibe Auto Recruitment is excited to be working on behalf of our client,in the automotive industry , to find an experienced and dedicated Parts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized individual with a strong background in automotive parts management to contribute to a growing and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of automotive parts to ensure stock levels are accurate and efficiently managed.
- Stock Control & Ordering: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and place timely orders with suppliers to meet business needs.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating pricing and ensuring the timely delivery of parts.
- Team Leadership: Manage a small team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
- Customer Service: Assist in parts sales to both internal teams and external customers, offering expert advice on parts and systems.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all parts meet the required quality standards and address any issues related to damaged or incorrect parts.
- Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, stock levels, and audits. Generate detailed reports on stock movement, sales, and supplier performance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the parts department operates in line with all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts and systems, with the ability to identify and source the right parts efficiently.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing a team, with a focus on productivity, customer satisfaction, and employee development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- IT Skills: Competent in using inventory management systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
