On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to assist with goods shipping orders and general warehouse tasks.

Location - Bury area. 

Duties:

  • Picking and Reconciliation: Picking and reconciling products against pick lists.
  • Packing and Labelling:
  • Packing products.
  • Generating packing lists through Sage.
  • Labelling packaging.
  • Goods Handling: Processing goods orders, including certification.

Stock Management:

  • Meeting packing deadlines for daily collections.
  • Moving expiring stock to the quarantined area.
  • Disposing of expired stock.
  • Completing daily stock rotation.
  • Locating stock from the holding area to finished goods daily and maintaining accurate stock records and transfer sheets.
  • Weekly rotation of products for impending orders, creating capacity for replenishment stock.
  • Weekly spot checks and moving low-quantity products to a designated cage to increase replenishment capacity.

Quality Control:

  • Identifying damaged goods and reporting to Quality Assurance.
  • Completing Qplus records.
  • Housekeeping: Ensuring all areas are kept clean and free of potential hazards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assisting in the development of the department by suggesting ideas and supporting implementation.
  • Annual Stock Check: Supporting the planning and completion of the annual stock check.

Skills Required:

Shipping experience: Essential

There is the potential for it to become permanent for the right candidate.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Total: 37 hours per week
