PMLD Teaching Assistant - Bury:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD at a school near to Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent psychology graduate.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care
- Working with challenging behaviours
- Building rapport with students, parents and staff
Position Details:
- Location: Bury
- Position: PMLD TA
- Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Minimum rate of pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with children
- Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
