Value Education is seeking a confident Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit in Bury. In this role, you will work closely with young adults and help guide them back into a mainstream educational setting.
Job Duties:- Support teachers in delivering tailored educational programmes for students at a Pupil Referral Unit.
- Assist with implementing individual education plans and behaviour management strategies.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff members to effectively address students' needs.
- Experience working in a Pupil Referral Unit or similar educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
This role will be starting immediately on a temporary to permanent basis.
