The School and Role

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity to support young children in a stimulating and safe learning environment. As a Nursery TA, you’ll be instrumental in fostering the development of early learning skills, supporting emotional well-being, and encouraging social interaction.

Hours of work 8:30am – 3:30pm  - Full time 5 days per week.

Requirements

The requested skillset the desired Early Years practitioner you will require;

• Desirable: A relevant educational or Health qualification (Level 3 or above)
• Experience or confidence working with children in a nursery or educational setting.
• A deep understanding of the Early Years framework or a willingness to learn this.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
• A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
• A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
