Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic PMLD Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Bury. Although experience working with Special Needs in a school is preferred, any professional or personal experience supporting Complex Needs will be beneficial. This role is paid on a daily rate of at least GBP100.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

  • Have experience working with children that have SEN Needs on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Training or experience in Team Teach, Moving and Handling, PECS or Makaton
  • Strong interpersonal skils
  • Take initiative
  • Committed to work 5 days a week

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years
  • Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
