Desk Based IT Account Manager

Hybrid

£30-35K plus car allownce and uncapped commission

My client, one of the Uk's leading business solutions providers is looking for an account manager to help grow and develop their IT MSP vertical. You will be a proactive account manager with an good understanding of how IT MSP can be implemented into your clients businesses to be an efficetive tool, to make their businesses more efficient and resilient in todays fast-paced market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Help grow sales of IT Services portfolio
  2. Cross / Upsell into those customers
  3. Win net new logo customers
  4. Achieve set targets
  5. Input to business planning and marketing campaigns
  6. Design corporate presentations and proposal templates
  7. Write tender responses
  8. Help maintain existing contracts and relationships
  9. Embrace the businesses core values and provide constructive ideas for improving service, working methods and environment.
  10. Play a key role in the business unit achieving agreed goals and growth plans

Essential:

  1. Strong IT and cyber security knowledge
  2. Experience in IT sales
  3. Reliable, responsible, well organised self-starter
  4. An eye for uncovering opportunities not directly related to opportunities already expose by the client
  5. Able to master new technologies quickly and effectively
  6. Excellent presentation skills
  7. Excellent proposal writing skills
  8. Good interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to continue good relationships with Engineering team

Desirable:

  1. Excellent understanding of the marketplace and solutions
  2. Commercially aware with focus on competitor activity and products
  3. Strong telecoms background would be advantageous
  4. Proficient ICT skills
  5. Clean Driving Licence
