Design Technology Technician

We're looking for a Design Technology Technician to work within a school who has a strong skillset working within the technology department. You'll be required to assist teaching staff with demonstration lessons and machine work, helping to create a fun and engaging learning environment and supporting students in their progress.

This School is an over subscribed, local community school based in Bury who understand that school is about more than just lessons, and work together to make school enjoyable and bring learning to life. They have high standards and expectations for students and benefit from a supportive base of students, school staff and parents and carers who work together to ensure these are met but also provide support where this is needed.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Design and Technology Technician you will:

  • Experience of working with both KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of teaching English to KS3 and KS4 classes
  • A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team

Salary

£100 to £120 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Background in Design Technology or experience working in a similar setting
  • Valid DBS/police checks
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
