Bury - Hybrid Working

Due to continued growth, my client a distributor of a wide variety of products including consumer electronics, homewares and health & beauty now has an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain / Stock Administrator to join their team in Bury.

  • You will make a real difference by optimising the department's profitable sales and optimising stock holdings through strong analytics, product planning and stock control (preventing Out of Stocks or Overstocking).
  • You will collate and present product information and sales information.
  • Proactively monitor sales and stock in order to optimise sales and margin performance - ensuring teams react to sales trends.
  • Proactively track shipments and address delays/issues within the stock planning cycle.
  • Develop the current systems to become more streamlined enabling KPIs to be easily managed and monitored.

In addition - you will also be responsible for product set up:

  • Product set up and management
  • Maintaining attributes
  • Streamlining process to ensure a unified standard

Experience required:

  • Strong commercial awareness and business minded.
  • Previous merchandising or stock controlling experience, preferably in a similar business.
  • Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills including reporting and use of Vlook ups.
  • Highly numerate with a focus on accuracy.
  • Candidates with a good working knowledge of Orderwise ERP systems will be of particular interest.
  • Knowledge of Direct Despatch, Marketplaces and Linnworks would be advantageous.
