Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colours and finishes.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process.
- Follow safety protocols while using power tools and handling materials.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain the quality of work.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to painting tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during preparation and application processes.
- Mechanical knowledge is an advantage for understanding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
