Senior Machine Control Engineer

Manchester

£40,000 to £47,000 + Van + Overtime + Manufacturer Training

Neos Engineering are currently working for a fantastic organisation who are experiencing massive growth at the moment and are looking for a candidate who has experience with Plant Machine Controls.

The ideal candidate for the role of Machine Control Engineer is to install, service and repair machine control systems which are found on Heavy Plant Machinery, the systems vary between Trimble, Leica, Topcon and Unicontrol, system training will be provided but ideally need an engineer who has experience with these systems.

The day to day role of the Machine Control Engineer will be to deliver, fit and calibrate wiring harnesses, Welding and fabrication of sensor brackets and mast mounts. You will be installing human form recognition cameras, height and slew restrictors and any other innovations as the role develops.

The is a brilliant opportunity to work for an already large but growing organisation, this role is going to grow overtime with engineers joining the business for the successful candidate to manage.

The Role:

  • Delivering & Fitting Wire Harnesses
  • Calibration of Harnesses
  • Welding and Fabrication of sensor brackets and mast mounts

The Candidate:

  • Experience working with Trimble, Leica, Topcon or Unicontrol
  • Plant Experience
  • Full Driving licence
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams
