Our client that specialises in the installation, service and design of high performance compressed air systems, is currently seeking Air System Technicians in four of their branches (Bradford, Bury, Chester and Manchester) due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will undertake maintenance and installation work on compressed air systems, including Air Compressors, Air Treatment, Control Systems, Pipework/Welding & Fabrication, Refrigeration (FGAS) and Nitrogen Generation. In return, they will provide a competitive salary up to £47,000, overtime, monthly bonuses, Healthcare and a company vehicle.

Air System Technician Job Overview
  • Carry out maintenance and installation work on compressed air systems, including Air Compressors, Control Systems, Pipework, and Air treatment Controls.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Air System Technician Job Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in maintaining compressed air systems is essential.
  • Level 3 in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline is preferred but not essential.
  • Be prepared for unsociable working due to the nature of the job.
  • Full driving licence
  • Within commutable distance of the Bradford, Bury, Chester or Manchester depot.
Air System Technician Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £32,000 - £47,000 depending on experience and qualifications. (OTE £35,000 - £55,000+ per annum)
  • Working Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday- Friday, 40 hours a week
  • Holiday package: 22 days + 8BH

  • Call Out - 1 in every 5 weeks, paid at overtime and with retainer.
