Job Title: Casual Road Worker
Location: Bury
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: Hourly rate from £12 to £13.5
Responsibilities:
As a Casual Road Worker, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with road construction projects, including bitmac works.Working on highways with the highest regard for safety protocols (HSG47 safe excavation)Operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle for transportation of materials and equipmentPerforming general maintenance and repairs on road surfacesEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulationsCollaborating with the team to achieve project goals efficiently
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Prior experience as a road worker or in a similar roleA valid driving licence with the ability to operate a 7.5-tonne vehicleKnowledge of bitmac works and relevant safety proceduresUnderstanding of HSG47 excavation guidelinesAbility to work efficiently and independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipExcellent communication and teamwork skills
