Milk Education is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor for Secondary Schools in Bury, with the role starting ASAP on a long-term or short-term basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C or above and ideally possess experience working with children or young adults.
The position offers excellent pay rates and includes benefits such as a fast-registration process and access to CPD courses.
Applicants should have a good understanding of classroom behavior management strategies and must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.

Milk Education are recruiting for proactive and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our Secondary Schools in Bury to work on a long-term or short-term basis. The role is to start ASAP.

Cover supervisor Role & Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during teacher absence, following pre-set lesson plans or providing appropriate activities
Provide assistance with student learning when appropriate, helping them with tasks and ensuring they understand instructions
Ensure students are on task and engaged with the work set.
Liaise with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to ensure continuity of support for students

Cover supervisor Non-negotiables:

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent)
Experience working with children or young adults, ideally in a school setting (though not essential)
Must have enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one
A good understanding of classroom behaviour management strategies
