Position: Temporary Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery Location: Greater Manchester Rate: £35 - £45 per hour Contract Type: Temporary (37 hours per week) Eden Brown are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer on behalf of a leading college in Greater Manchester. This is a full time temporary role to start immediately. Job Role As a Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons to students at various levels, from beginners to advanced learners in our Carpentry and Joinery programs. You will play a key role in supporting students through both theoretical knowledge and hands-on workshop instruction, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Key Responsibilities * Delivering engaging and practical Carpentry and Joinery lessons * Guiding and assessing students through practical and theoretical assignments. * Providing constructive feedback and supporting students in developing their skills and confidence. Collaborating with the department to ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment. The successful candidate will have: * A recognised qualification in Carpentry and Joinery or a related field (Level 3 or above). * Previous teaching or training experience * Industry experience in Carpentry and Joinery, with knowledge of current tools, techniques, and standards. * A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is desirable * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to inspire and engage students.
